Optimizepress is a great WordPress plugin to have access to when it comes to creating landing pages, sales pages, membership sites as well as opt in pages. This is a plugin that I have recently started using myself.

Getting started
To get started creating a funnel you go to the menu to the left in the back office of your blog andcreate new funnel below where it says Optimizepress. Then you can choose among several already created funnels . I suggest you will use a done for you funnel if you are a total beginner creating funnels. I would also suggest that you choose to create a funnel involving two steps. This is a simple funnel but it can be very effective as well. You will then have a opt in page and a thank you page. On the thank you page you should share information about how the subscriber will get access to the free lead magnet that you are giving away.
Having a lead magnet as a free egive away is a very effective startegy when building a list, because people basically likes things that are free. The lead magnet can be an ebook, aa video series or something else that you are giving away for free. When you have crceated your funnel you will be see statistics for bot your opt in page as well as the thank you page in the back office of Optimizepress.
Connecting your autoresponder
To connect your autoresponder to your opt in page you need to visit your page and make sure that you are in the edit mode.
Put your cursor in the field for email adress on your form and then you will see a symbol looking like and envelope. Then you will see different autoresponder services that you can integrate with Optimizepress. Then choose your autoresponder service and authorize it.

Building an email list by using funnels is still very important for every online marketer. Building that buyers list means that you have a group of people that you can reach out by email any time that you want. This means that you do not have to chase people on the internet. You should build your email list constantly, in any way that you can as long as you are using etichal methods of course.
Yes, you can make money without an email list, but having one can greatly improve your ability to make money and build a successful online business. And if you only are driving traffic to a sales page and not an opt in page then you are leaving money on the table. Because when using just a sales page they may only see your offer once and never again. When you have a list you can email offer after offer to those subscribers. But of course you should also build a relationship with your list and not just pitch then with different offers. By creating a relationship with your list you can make them like, know and trust you. This will lead to more sales for you. Many people may unsubscribe from your list if you pitch too hard on the other hand.
Not everyone on your list will buy from you so that is why we at all times should continue to build our lists. Some say that email marketing is dead, but that is not true.
